Beneath the Surface: Overview of Common Acupuncture Points
This workshop provides the opportunity to explore common acupuncture points on a human cadaver.
Join me and Beverly Boyer of the Peak Research Institute for a 2-hour long program to explore beneath the skin to see the structures where we place needles. This is a unique opportunity to explore and be in awe of the majesty of the human body.
After a brief overview and history of the donor, Albert will share important landmarks for students/therapists to review. Participants will be able to understand the layering and the depths of the tissues they are directly treating. Students will be encouraged to palpate structures most important to their education and continued understanding of the patient/treatment possibilities.
The class is an open format encouraging questions, participation, and curiosity.
